Late Pick-up Policy and Fees

If a family is not in the center to pick up their child on time, the following procedures will be followed:

  • If a family is late a one time a warning will be given, it will be documented and there is no fee charged. Unless the family is more than 10 minutes late and then they will be charged.

  • If a family is late a second time, they receive a late pickup form to sign from the classroom teacher explaining that they were late to pick up their child/children and what the charge will be. The fee is based on the PROCARE computer at the main site, and the classroom clocks at the alternate sites. The following fees will be assessed: 1-5 minutes late =$10.00/ 6-10 minutes late =$15.00/ 11-15 minutes late = $ 20.00 etc.

  • If a family is more than 15 minutes late, the emergency contact will be called to pick up the child. After 45 minutes, Child Protective Services of Green County will be called. Prior to a staff member calling Child Protective Services, a member of the Administration Team must be notified.

  • If a family is late 3 or more times within 3 months they may be terminated from the center.
