Job Requirements
Registry Level Twelve or higher
One or more years of early childhood management experience
Background verification check
Read staff policy and procedure handbook and sign that you understand its context
Fill out required forms to be kept in your personnel file
Complete and pass a physical and TB skin test within thirty days of hire
Participate and lead discussions in monthly staff meetings and in-services
Implementation of Wisconsin State Licensing Rules and Regulations and YoungStar standards
Implementation of the USDA Federal Food Program
Be able to lift to forty pounds

Greet each family at drop off and pick up times. Seek and share relevant information

Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters and center activities
Attend one community event and all Small World events each year
Utilize one community resource per month (library, field trip, community resource, etc.)
Managerial Responsibilities
Manage Small World teachers and other team members
Manage daily operations at Small World
Attend board meetings upon request
Join a board committee and attend regular meetings
Implement and support Small World programming and curriculum
Conduct family tours at Small World
Manage enrollment of Small World
Follow licensing regulations for Small World
Follow YoungStar standards for Small World
Conduct annual teacher evaluations for Small World employees with the Executive Director
Maintain staff files to adhere to licensing regulation
Lead new hire orientation at Small World
Manage axillary team members at Small World
Attend quarterly management meetings
Health, Safety and Nutrition
Implement USDA Federal Food Program
Distribute USDA monthly food counts to classrooms
Compose and maintain allergy and special dietary lists, and distribute to classrooms teachers and cook
Review medical and incident log books each quarter
Education Requirements
Twenty-five hours of continuing education per calendar year
Attend one early childhood conference per year
Attend one leadership-focused conference per year
Minimum of four hours of leadership, communication, or management training per year
